Concreate, found objects.
Unfinished or destroyed buildings made a big stunning first impression to both of us when we arrived in Latvia. We liked the esthetic of ruins and the kind of mystery which emerges from them. These architectural remains are like the dreams of bygones times. We found a big area where buildings had been destroyed; and, like two archaeologists, we started working in the field and we began to excavate, hoping to find a forgotten beauty. We selected the best pieces and then we created 6 supports made of concrete, from the material we have found in the field. These supports don’t have to be seen as pedestals but instead as a part of the finished sculpture itself. The art piece is formed by combining the support and the material found amongst the remains
